The Cycle MOT Returns Policy

RETURNS

Our policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, must be in the original packaging and in the same condition that you received it. To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases. Additional non-returnable items: Gift cards and some health and personal care items.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted: (if applicable within the seller's discretion)
Any item not in its original condition is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
Any item that is returned more than 14 days after collection or delivery.


REFUNDS (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 7-14 working days.


LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at info@thecyclemot.co.uk.


SALES ITEM (if applicable)
We do not offer refunds on sale items.


EXCHANGES (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info@thecyclemot.co.uk with your full name, email address, order ID or transaction ID (if you made the purchase directly from our store). If possible, then please attach a copy or image of the purchase receipt. Please returnyour item to 357-359 FOREST ROAD, LONDON, E17 5JR, United Kingdom.


SHIPPING YOUR RETURN
To return your product, you should ship your items to the following address including your order and contact details:

You will be responsible for paying for your shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.


CUSTOMISED RETURNS
Under exceptional circumstances, and only at the Seller’s discretion, some Goods can be returned on the condition that the Buyer covers a 35% restocking fee. Unlimited additional charges to the Buyer may also be incurred depending on the condition of the Goods returned. It is the Seller’s prerogative to determine the sum of any additional costs over and above the 35% restocking fee.

The Buyer is responsible for returning the Goods to the Seller, and for ensuring they are returned in a saleable condition, including a Sales Receipt and original packaging. Refunds can only be processed upon Seller’s receipt of the returned Goods, and only after the returned Goods are inspected and assessed for wear and/or damages.

We do not accept any returns on custom-ordered goods. Custom-ordered goods include any bikes, parts, and/or equipment that need to be ordered into the shop specifically to meet the Buyer's requirements or demands (e.g. bikes, components, or equipment not typically stocked and specially ordered in specific colours, sizes, or designs).

As we sell second-hand bikes, we do not accept returns on refurbished or second-hand goods. We aim to repair or fix the fault or replace the damaged components. We can in exceptional circumstances exchange your bike for another of your choice of the same value in stock and/or a difference in payment can be paid if required on a higher-value bike.
